Does The Degree of Intellect Correlate To The Level of Religious Spirituality?

Compare The Human Brain To The Ram Of a PC - Personal Computer.

Considering the known facts - as I understand them...

1. G-d is "just" and looks upon the heart, not the intellect.

2. G-d is no respecter of persons - as in position, wealth, social status or the way the person is viewed by the world.

3. People with learning disabilities or retardation have the same opportunity to be born again of the spirit as a genius.

Based on those facts I would be forced to assume that the annointing of the Holy Spirit is received directly into that persons Spiritual DNA and bypasses the usual mental processing of the human brain.

In my awkward, elementery way I will compare the human mind to a PC - Personal Computer.

The human brain could be considered as the RAM (random access memory) of the computer. It is my understanding that this is where the processing of inserted data is assembled and organized. This data may be injected into the system via keyboard, floppy disk, CD or a download from the internet.

If the RAM of the computer or the human brain is not sufficient to properly assemble the input it will not be intelligible. Therefore, the only answer I can be comfortable with is that the spiritual knowledge (for lack of better terms) is installed directly into the spiritual DNA or "hard drive" to become a part of that person's makeup. This individual may not be able to communicate the knowledge but it will be evident in the actions and living example of that person's life.

Just like the computer with an insufficient RAM or damaged RAM cannot communicate properly with other networked computers.

A book read by the individual that teaches the gospel may be compared to the insertion of data via the "keyboard." A message preached from the pulpit may be compared to the insertion of data from a "floppy disk" or CD. ARE YOU READY? The annointing of the Holy Spirit is a direct "download" from G-d. It is downloaded directly to the "hard drive" and makes the receiver a "new creation" - they are born again! Regardless of the level of "RAM" capacity or I.Q. level. That person is different - yes - a new creature and this new creature views issues of the eternal soul with more vigor and concern than before they were "born-again."

The scriptures teach us that "salvation" is a gift from G-d. It cannot be taught, worked for or earned... the scriptures tell us it is a free gift from the Creator. We may be able to help accommodate the reception of the gift through prayer and study but the actual "download" is a gift. If it were available to us through work, memory work, study of the scriptures and human effort we could not proclaim it to be a gift but something that we as humans can "will" for ourselves and bring it about through our own doing. That is not scriptural.

This may also explain why Christians cannot agree or see eye-to-eye on scripture or messages from religious teachers. They may be Christians with the same spiritual DNA from Jesus but may not express themselves the same. The human brains (RAM) are not compatible and simply don't communicate in the same language. The input is handled differently in each of us. Our "RAM" processes it differently. That's perhaps the reason for so many different perspectives on many issues.

Twins think the same thoughts much of the time - they are twins all the way to their "RAM" brain process thus arriving at virtually the same conclusions. However, one twin may become a born again Christian and the other does not. That would further enhance my theory that the spiritual DNA - the "born again" experience is a direct "download" from G-d and not a mental process of reasoning via "RAM" brain power. Otherwise the twins would have - by way of their reasoning process - arrived at the same level of spiritual maturity.

Some people may be more correct - Yes - more accurate in their understanding than others but it is scriptual that G-d looks on the heart - not the intellect! Therefore, we may mistakingly judge a person with more or less "RAM" or Different Language - as wrong and hell-bound. That person may view you in the same light!

This would explain to me why the discussion of religion leads to more fights and hard feelings than ANY other topic - with the exception of politics.

Since the download directly from G-d into our spiritual intellect or spiritual DNA has become a part of us (our new creation) we are more passionate where discussions on religion are concerned. We can't help it!
