| Jesus The Christ... Jesus The Son Of
God... Jesus Our Lord And Savior |
||||
THIS IS NOT FOUND IN THE GOSPEL ACCOUNTS - THIS IS MY INTERPRETATION AND UNDERSTANDING based on the scriptures from the King James Version. I am certain it will be criticized by many teachers and preachers of different denominations. That is welcomed! Consider the possibility that "they" teach an incorrect doctrine that has been passed down through many generations... I believe that in many cases that is the case and the reason there is such a great separation between Christians. Something is wrong! They can't all be right - which ones are right and which are incorrect? Tell me - which is the ONE TRUE DOCTRINE? Let me make myself perfectly clear! I believe in God The Father - I believe in The Holy Spirit and I believe in Jesus who is the Christ, The Messiah, our Savior, LORD! Back to business... The following paragraph is enlarged because it is very important to the point I am making... In the following scripture the Apostle John declares that "THE WORD" was.. and.. is Jesus. I do not disagree! However, you should understand that the original Greek reads "LOGUS" and was translated as "WORD" when in fact "LOGUS" means "word" or "study." As I understand, it is hard to define "LOGUS" in one word... I am told that The "WORD" is the one single word that best fits the translation. The
Gospel of John, Chapter 1 Verse 1. In the beginning was
the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All
things were made by him; and without him was not any
thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life
was the light of men. The "Word" in the gospel of John is identified as Jesus. He was known in the scriptures as "Yeshua" as well as several other methods of spelling. My understanding is as follows; When He was in heaven He was not "Jesus" as we know Jesus the man and savior of mankind. According to John's account; when in Heaven before He came to Earth as a man, He was a perfect entity and created everything! He was not referred to as The Son Of God when He was in heaven (as we call it). To imply that He was The Son of God when He was with God in heaven - would imply that there was a "wife" or "mother" in order to produce a "son." As silly as that sounds that is the implication. That has never been taught - to my knowledge - but I am trying to make a point here, so bear with me. The "Word" did not become The Son of God until He was born from the womb of a woman. At that time He became Jesus, The Son of God. He was a baby, a human baby whose father was God. After His human birth Jesus was THE SON because he had a mother and a father. To say that Jesus was God while here on earth would take away the sacrifice that Jesus made as a human - a human who knew pain, suffering, loneliness and sorrow. He was the sacrificial lamb who knew the trials of mankind and endured suffering beyond human comprehension. The Jews believed and practiced the sacrifice of animals for atonement of their sins. According to scripture; Jesus, an innocent "Lamb of God" was to be the ultimate sacrifice. The concept of sacrifice being the way to rectify sin or atone for sin is hard for me to understand but I doubt that I will ever come to understand the ways and brilliance of the Creator. Besides, I am not tied to a faith that requires that practice, therefore I can "know" Jesus (in the spirit) without the practice of sacrificing innocent creatures... Wonder why the Jews don't still practice the sacrifice? They did not accept Jesus as the perfect, sacrificial lamb of God, so, why did they discontinue the practice? If there is a person of the Jewish faith reading this, please enlighten me. Don't get me wrong; I'm not angry or condemning the Jews, it is simply a question I ask. Jesus prayed to HIS Father in heaven... If HE were God HE would not have had to pray to a superior entity... To say that God was reduced to a human, capable of sin and wrong doing is wrong! Jesus never taught that! HE came to fulfill the Laws of God and the most important of all laws of the Creator was; DO NOT PUT ANY GOD BEFORE HIM. This was one major reason the Jews would not accept Jesus as the Savior. The Jews expected a KING... A powerful liberator of the Jews and Jesus was a kind servant to HIS followers... a human being from a common, hard working family. Jesus in no way taught that HIS followers should mix the spiritual affairs of HIS father with the secular affairs of Rome or any other government! Jesus always referred to God as HIS Father. That was the fact! After being born of a human woman who was impregnated by the Holy Spirit of God. HIS Father was God and HIS mother was Mary. Jesus was now the Son Of God. It is my reasoning that Jesus was not God when here on this earth as a man. It is a fact, based on scripture that Jesus was a man and HUMAN-MAN CANNOT BE GOD! To teach that "GOD" can be born of a human is not scriptural and sets up the coming lie and deception of the anti-Christ. Seems to me that there has been some editing or a lot of material was left out of the canonized text which was authorized by the Council of Nicea in 325 AD under Constantine! I believe the scriptures are the word of God, through prophets but I wonder if we have all of the scriptures, in their entirety? REMEMBER
- THIS IS MY
UNDERSTANDING: To say that Jesus was God is an insult to
the Creator! According to scripture, Jesus
was a man, capable of sin. God has NEVER been capable of
sin! Jesus, when on this earth as a
man had to face the temptations and the ability to sin
and overcome them - God NEVER had to face temptation and
resist it. The first challenge presented Jesus after John
The Baptist baptized HIM was the trip to the wilderness
where HE WAS TEMPTED BY SATAN!
OKAY? If you believe the scriptures - then believe what you just read! God is perfect. Jesus was not perfect, HE was INNOCENT. HE achieved perfection when HIS innocent, unblemished life on this earth was over and HE was resurrected in HIS PERFECT body. At that time HE achieved perfection, incapable of sin - Then HE was perfect! Jesus sits at the right hand of HIS Father God. There is a scripture in the gospel of John, Chapter 20 where Thomas declares that "Jesus is his Lord and God." When this declaration was made by Thomas; Jesus had been resurrected and had acquired HIS new spiritual body and was now perfect and incapable of sin and is now appointed as the perfect Son of God. HE was now perfect and unable to sin as before when HE was human. If HE had been God He would not have been capable of sin and there would not have been any temptation to overcome. Jesus achieved perfection by living a totally INNOCENT life and dying in HIS INNOCENCE - then upon HIS resurrection in HIS new perfect body HE was incapable of sin! HE sits at the right hand of HIS Father... and Jesus told HIS followers: "all things were placed under HIS authority." This is what Jesus told HIS disciples when HE appeared to them in HIS new resurrected body. Jesus overcame all adversity and remained innocent throughout HIS journey through this earthly life. Had HE been God - that - would - not - even - have - been - a - test! If
there is an ordained preacher out there, kindly tell me
about the following scriptures. Do these sound like they
are spoken by God? These are just a few and we have seen
these so many times we don't question anything! Now wait!
I did not say we should question God or His Son but what
about man-made doctrine? Read them, please... Remember,
these are but a small sampling. Matthew chapter 27 vs. 45: Jesus called out with a loud voice, Eli, Eli, Lema Sabachthani? which means My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? As simple as it sounds, God does not ask "why HE was abandoned." This sounds like the human-born Son calling out to HIS Father, God and asking a simple question, "WHY?" Not what I would expect from the Creator of the universe. I just do not believe that the scriptures were spoken by the Son of God to confuse us - I believe the testimony left by Christ would be easy to read and understand. I don't believe the word of God was intended to be made so difficult. I realize there is a difference after it has been translated, aged a few thousand years... culture makes a difference in comprehension. All I am saying is this; just take it for the way it reads and don't superimpose new meaning into every verse. If anybody can offer anything to further understanding, please step up. Another thought: You may ask, Why has the doctrine of the Trinity been taught? The Trinity is the teaching that God is in three persons. That is in direct conflict with the first thing we learn - There is only ONE God. Jesus, the Son of God taught that. Satan and his followers and teachers of false doctrine reduce God to a lowly human being. That is what you do when you teach that Jesus, the man, was God. There are many evil results that can spring from these teachings, in the end-times that we are in now. Are Satan and his followers setting the stage for the anti-Christ who will be born of human? www.john33.com/trinity For one thing the doctrine of the Trinity has held God's chosen people, the Jews from accepting Him - Jesus - as their savior. Any good Jew knows that there is only one God, not three. This has caused the rift between the Jews, Christians and their High Rabbi, Jesus.
