I can't tell you how God determines who his "Testers" will be but I know one thing is for sure --- There are chosen ones who are appointed as "The Test." I don't know why or how He chose the original 12 on which to build His Church - I'm sure it was not careless, random selection! I have come to know a few individuals that I'm sure are appointed "Testers." I have listened to their life stories and their lack of understanding - as to why - their lives changed and they became incapable of achieving the material results that they once enjoyed. They are systematically denied success on their own and become 100% reliant on Jesus and those who Jesus puts in the path of these "Testers."

T.D. Jakes, a famous TV Preacher wrote a brilliant little book entitled WHY? BECAUSE YOU ARE ANNOINTED. The little book says it all! The only thing Jakes did not deal with was - the different degrees of testing and the mission of being a "Tester" - Those Sunday Morning Christians who follow the Materialistic Christ view it as punishment and justice served up by Jesus - or simply as persecution. We all have a lot to learn.

For many years I thought God was punishing me for a decade of sinful living - which I was guilty of after I had been "saved." Through dedicated study - and - largely due to The Book Of Job I have come to understand much about the way The Creator, His Son and His Holy Spirit use Satan to teach us to "overcome."

Satan was not a mistake of God! He is incapable of making a mistake! He created Satan to show us the "other side" and provide a test to overcome the Adversary.

There is much taught in the scriptures about stooping (standing tall) to help the less fortunate as well as animals. If so much is dedicated to this topic it must be extremely important to learn the lessons presented and extend a helping hand.

The false doctrines taught by ALL TV Evangelists and MOST Pastors are based in a "materialistic" Jesus. In truth the TRUE CHRIST taught the opposite! "If you have two coats give one to a needy person." - "Sell all you have, give it to the poor and follow me."

Chapter 2...}¹⁴Dear brothers and sisters, what's the use of saying you have faith if you don't prove it by your actions? That kind of faith can't save anyone. ¹⁵Suppose you see a brother or sister who needs food or clothing, ¹⁶and you say, "Well, good-bye and God bless you; stay warm and eat well"--but then you don't give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?

By the way - in those days they did not have utility bills, transportation, insurance and other things that James would have included - besides just food and clothing. Do you get the point? Today less fortunate peope need help in many areas!

I have been on both sides of this lesson and I can tell you when a person lends a helping hand it is one of finest testimonies you can offer. It is a heart-warming and greatful lesson in the goodness of Jesus and His followers.

Everybody doesn't qualify (spiritually) to be appointed a "Tester" - It requires humility, trust in God that He is in control, a knowing that you are serving God's purpose to allow others to be tested while some pass and some fail. I have seen the results of those failing the test. Many times the results of those passing the test are only witnessed in Heaven. Jesus said, "Store up your treasures in heaven not here on earth where they rust away." That's paraphrased (as usual).

Be on the lookout for "Testers" they are sent by God. Just as God sent His Son - His Son sends His "Testers." Pass the test and get on with the Kingdom of God which is promised to those who are obedient. Animals are included as "Testers." That may well be their main purpose! They teach us to love! If every living person was given a pet as a small child and grew up taking care of that animal - loving that animal and being loved by that animal - there would be less crime and war would be very unpopular! "What You Do For The Least Of These You Have Done For Me."
