THE KING'S 12 Paul, the former newsman, sat directly across from Matt at the restaurant table. "Thanks for meeting me ", Matt nodded, "Glad to, Most of the others are tied up with the IRS this morning or they would have come too. The auditors wouldn't let me go in with them, we're about finished with the IRS." "So you want to join us in our cause, it's a rough go." Matt told him in earnest. "I don't care," Paul continued, "I've known for sometime there was a conspiracy of some kind in our society but as long as it didn't effect me I looked the other way." "What changed your mind?" Matt asked. Paul's eyes began to tear as he swallowed hard. "ALPHA 2 appeared to me the other night, he was as real as you are, I'm not the same person, I haven't been able to sleep since. I have felt differently about things since the encounter with ALPHA 2. Besides, I know a lot of things that will help you get the truth out to the people." "Why don't you tell me about it," Matt urged him. Paul began, "Well, it involves banking, news reporting, an awful lot of seemingly good organizations and of course politics. We never tell the whole story and we report just what we're told. Whoever is controlling us manipulates the stock market, they start and end wars, put the political candidate of their choice in office. They can't be stopped!" An almost frantic Paul exclaimed. "That's pretty much our opinion," Matt consoled him. "Well if you think that, why do you even bother to fight them?" Paul asked. Matt rose from the table, carefully looking around, "Let's get out of here and go for a walk, I'll try my best to explain it to you." Matt and Paul walked out into the fresh air. "This is better isn't it?" Matt suggested. "Look around you, everything you see has a price tag, your life on this planet is governed by how much purchasing power you have. You can't rent a car unless you have a major credit card. Children grow up respecting only material things, bigger, better, faster, more expensive. It's a materialistic world, money, power, greed. The biggest dog gets the biggest share. Pretty hard to have a lot of love for fellow man when you observe him as a threat, a competitor, one who is simply after your goodies. Paul asked, "Are you saying it's wrong to be wealthy?" Matt emphatically responded, "Not at all, just the opposite is true. Be thankful for the wealthy. Without them there would not be a workable economic system. Wealth creates jobs and provides goods and services that we couldn't live without. The private enterprise system is the only system that will work." It produces individual wealth. Paul was amazed at how incorrectly the press had viewed Alpha 2's philosophy. Matt continued. "If you spend the short time you have on this planet working and preparing only for the materialistic world, you will not be prepared to carry on when it is time for your spirit to go into the other dimension. You will be lost. You must use some time to prepare and nurture the spirit. "Paul whined, "What other dimension? I was taught that, what you see is what you get, this is it." Matt showed irritation. "That's the big lie perpetrated by an agent who was thrown out of the Kingdom, his name is Mesmerizer. It took thousands of years for Mesmerizer to cool down a once very intelligent and spiritualistic world. Pyramids, the great flood, an apple? There are many wonders that our teachers and educators can't explain. But they have been conditioned to denounce any power greater than man. They can't allow any belief to exist that would set people free from their bondage to the system." Matt continued,"If the citizens of this planet understand that there is a greater power than the system, they will not serve the system. They will serve the greater power and that goes against the materialistic order. When you are motivated by a driving force to store up material possessions you will serve the system well, and only the system." They sat on a park bench. Paul was sorry he had persecuted ALPHA 2 and his wonderful companions. He felt a love and peace that he had never experienced before this moment. Paul asked Matt if he could enter the Kingdom. Matt helped him communicate in the spirit and the spirit filled his heart at that moment. Paul instantly knew he had a mission to accomplish for the King. Darkness fell, they had spent the entire day together. Paul would learn fast. "Welcome to the Kingdom," Matt sang out as they went separate ways. Matt faded into the darkness, knowing that Paul would become a great and good servant of the Kingdom. |
