THE KING'S 12
Chapter 2

"Good morning Moby, glad you're early," a smiling Zen greeted his old

friend. "Moby, we've got a big mission ahead of us. For the first time

in my life I'm nervous." "Easy does it Zen, what's got you so nervous

buddy?" A very concerned Moby asked. Zen was very upset and excited as

he said. "Moby, you better sit down. This time we're dealing with the

most important thing in all of creation, ALPHA'S SON! They've got big

problems on this planet and ALPHA'S son is in the middle." Moby

was trying to put his old friend at ease as he said. "Zen, that's

simple enough, we just go in and take him off the planet and if need

be we leave Mesmerizer's beloved planet in a smoldering heap." Zen

argued, "Moby, ALPHA'S son is no longer a celestial being, he's a

human. It's one of AlPHA'S plans, ALPHA 2 is to be the perfect

example of a human, his purpose is to save mankind -- AND MOBY WE

CAN'T INTERFERE. He's on his own. We're here to monitor Mesmerizer's

agents, to be sure they don't stack the deck and deal ALPHA 2 an

impossible hand. ALPHA says ALPHA 2 is pure human, spiritual

communication is his only link to the Kingdom -- the same as any other

human." Zen informed Moby,"We got here just in time, ALPHA 2 started

putting his staff together just a short time ago. ALPHA 2 is going to

establish his organization with average citizens right off the

street." Moby countered, "Zen, there's no way anybody in the presence

of ALPHA'S SON can remain average very long." Moby continued, " What

kind of personnel is he recruiting?"

Zen gave the report. "He's got a commercial fisherman and his brother,

out of San Francisco; that would be Pete and Andy. His own two

cousins, James and John have joined him and kissed a fancy career

good-bye -- they're the two rich fellows, the sons of that

wealthy seafood broker. Then there's a former tax auditor from the IRS

of Washington D.C. -- Matthew. A prominent doctor out of

Houston, Nate. A carpenter from New Orleans called Thomas. Then

there's Jude -- he's good at accounting and details. He's recruited

some real dangerous men, they can handle themselves, they're

honorable and trustworthy.

Thad, Simon, Philip and another fellow named James. All together

he's got 12, very interesting men from all walks of life." Zen

continued, "They're getting along well with each other, as a matter of

fact from what I can tell they're having a good time. Funny thing

happened a few minutes ago in a little restaurant in Arkansas. One of

Messy's agents prompted a "red neck" to insult Nate -- the doctor --

Before the "Hill Billy" could finish the insult -- Pete -- the big

fisherman from Frisco -- stood him on his head." Moby laughed," kind

of makes you want to go out on the town with them doesn't it?" Zen

went on " They dress well and handle themselves very well, they can

move in any circle. Luckily, several of the 12 had some serious money.

They pooled their money and bought a fancy bus to travel in, they're

doing OK!"

Several months passed. ALPHA 2 and his 12 were being received with

great enthusiasm, everywhere they go they draw a crowd. Several of the

12 were good musicians. They would stop off, set up the instruments,

play some good music and the crowd would gather to hear what this well

dressed, good looking speaker had to say.

ALPHA 2 could deliver a message better than anyone had ever heard. He

would lecture on the power of the Kingdom. People were experiencing

the birth of the spirit. It was the greatest display of charisma and

faith ever seen. The people loved him.

ALPHA told Zen and Moby that he was "well pleased" with his son.

Mesmerizer and his bunch didn't sit still. They quickly realized who

was among them. They began fighting tooth and nail through humanistic

organizations to stop ALPHA 2 from spreading the good news. IRS, FBI,

CIA all had been instructed to "knock him out" at all costs. "STOP

ALPHA 2" was the battle cry. The CIA through their subchapters....

powerful organizations with benevolent and innocent sounding names

stopped all spiritual communication in schools and public places. The

citizens were made to look foolish when they honored Alpha, the judges

and courts were instructed to enforce all laws that would hinder the

development of a spiritual being. THE BATTLE WAS ON!
