THE KING'S 12
Chapter 3

Town after town, conventions every day, they were spreading the good

news. They stopped for a few hours rest in a small town in Texas --

ALPHA 2 liked Texas. A crowd gathered -- he was becoming well known --

everywhere he went the people would gather. ALPHA 2 helped people

understand their problems, he would show them how to overcome the

human faults which had kept so many from happiness and peace. Many

times he would communicate in the spirit and heal diseases. Sadly

enough, impostors had made the scene years before him, fakes who had

tricked and conned people, therefore, some who heard of him did not

believe. Some heard him but did not have the spiritual capabilities to

receive his truths -- but many heard him, understood him and were able

to receive the great message and meaning, these were the ones he was

sent to save. His 12 were learning each day and were astonished at his

miracles. This day he concluded his message, "Happy are the kind and

merciful for you shall be shown mercy, you are the world's light,

glowing in the night for all to see." Many experienced the birth of

the spirit that day -- some tried to tell others about the feeling but

few could understand. Some people unwittingly made fun of the converts

and called them fanatics.

All in all it was a great meeting, everybody hated for it to end --

even the ones who were not spiritually motivated liked the music.

ALPHA 2 and his 12 were boarding their bus when suddenly about a dozen

ruffians appeared from behind the bus -- wielding baseball bats, tire

tools and various other weapons. The leader of the pack said, " We

don't like you in our town." In less than a blink of the eye, the big

fisherman -- Pete --sent the leader flying with a crushing blow -- at

the same time snatched another up by the throat. Pete's brother, Andy

jumped three feet into the air and in a smooth 360 degree body

rotation took out some dental work on two of the heros. At the same

time the high spirited, fast moving brothers, James and John, had

moved in behind the attackers, the powerful 12 had them surrounded.

At that moment ALPHA 2 shouted, "STOP". He spoke with such authority

that all motion stopped. One of the larger and stronger of the twelve,

Thomas, was holding a bewildered attacker by the hair of the head --

he said in a firm steady voice, "as long as you boys can take the

pain, we'll oblige you". "Enough of this!" a concerned AlPHA 2

announced. ALPHA 2 knelt down beside the leader of the bunch and wiped

the blood from the thug's face. "Are you OK?" He asked. "I am now,

just don't let that big guy hit me again", the thug begged.

The attackers dropped their weapons as the miraculous 12 helped them

to their feet. Some of the thugs were hurt and all apologized for

their wrong doing. Nate, the doctor, invited them into the bus while

he looked them over for serious injury. The shameful gang joined in a

moment of spiritual communication with ALPHA 2 and his 12. All of the

gang had a spiritual experience -- The leader of the gang cried and

exclaimed,"YOU ARE SPECIAL -- YOU ARE THE KING!" ALPHA 2

nodded and said, "you too are special, my father's Spirit has shown

you this." As the new brothers of the spirit were leaving they

embraced and shook hands -- they made the 12 promise that they would

be sure to let them know when they were coming back to town, so they

could attend the session and help with crowd control -- which was

always a problem. The King assured them they would. ALPHA 2 smiled and

with a look that warmed them all deeply told his 12 " he loved them

and was proud of them."

Zen and Moby both feel it's getting close to a showdown. ALPHA 2

is becoming so popular among the citizens that it's scaring the

establishment. The word on Wall Street -- The new movement will hurt

the GNP. If people learn ALPHA 2's philosophy it will almost surely

cause a depression within the drug and health care industry. The

entire medical profession will suffer economically. Some are afraid of

a major stock market crash. It won't stop there, almost all

segments of the economy will be effected.

Suddenly the citizens will be living within their means and not

trying to be the richest in the cemetery. The toys of vanity won't be

as important as the citizens become less vain. Billions of dollars

will be lost by the very wealthiest people on the planet and they

don't like to lose money. People are learning to be happy with less

material things and realize that true happiness comes from within and

can't be bought -- The citizens here lost that knowledge. For years

the corporations, with the help of the electronic media had

brainwashed the people into believing that, happiness is determined by

bigger and more expensive material possessions.

ALPHA 2 teaches that love is one of the greatest healers of all. Some

of the citizens are beginning to experience spiritual love and it's

spreading like wildfire.

It won't be long before Mesmerizer's planet is going to be turned

upside down. All of the senseless material things that the average

person has been killing himself for are losing their importance. All

of a sudden the ego is not so prevalent in some of our citizens who

set the examples. The drop in the divorce rate is hurting the lawyers,

the legal profession is fearful of ALPHA 2, they can't survive if

people quit suing each other and start settling their differences

among themselves. When people quit killing, robbing, raping,

embezzling and ruining each others lives there's no reason for

lawyers, courts and jails. The drug industry will be nonexistent as

people will be happy with the reality of it all. LOVE AND HONESTY ARE

NOW BAD FOR THE GLOBAL ECONOMY!

Agents from Alpha's Kingdom can't believe that the citizens of

planet earth are so blinded by Mesmerizer. Intellectually brilliant

people are sold a bill of goods by the media on a daily basis --

enslaving mankind as they become void of spirit and totally

materialistic, Moby winced, "Is it too late for the King and his 12?"
