Chapter 9

Mesmerizer listened to his lieutenant as he explained that it would be

impossible to destroy Zen on planet earth. "He's too smart, too fast

and Moby's around him all the time." Messy ordered, "Then we'll

take him in the spiritual dimension, the restricted zone is the

perfect place to do the job." The lieutenant objected, "He'll never

fall for that, he's too well trained to enter the zone." Messy

grinned, "Not if he doesn't realize he's been taken there."

Mesmerizer knew that all ALPHA agents were "sitting on ready" and

he was especially afraid of Zenith. He would feel a lot better if he

could get the big agent out of the way.

"Why do you have your sword out?" Moby asked. "Your not going near the

zone are you?" "I don't know," Zen replied, "just a feeling I've had

the last several days. Usually when I get a feeling like this there's

something to it. Besides that, I really hope ALPHA 2 calls for help,

I'd like to straighten out a few problems for him."

Author's Note

The restricted zone is an area that is so saturated with the

influence of negative spirits that ALPHA'S agents can't communicate
in the spirit there, the ZONE is completely evil -- They are cut off from
the Kingdom while in the ZONE. Their only defense is of a physical

nature and some power that ALPHA agents are able to generate on

their own without the spirit.

Zen's weapon of choice is a sword,

made of a substance found in a far away galaxy where few agents have

ever been. Zen brought the material back and had two beautiful swords

made, one for himself and one for his eternal friend Moby.

No weapon has ever been more effective than these swords when

placed in the hands of a skilled warrior. Moby asked, "Did you

get my sword out too?" Zen glanced at him smiling, he asked,

"Would you have it any other way?" Through a sequence of events

which took place, Zen and Moby were helping some ALPHA agents

near the restricted zone. In less than a heartbeat there were

several hundred of Messy's agents surrounding them, weapons

drawn. One of the leaders made a move towards the ALPHA GROUP.

The waves of sound in that dimension roared as thunder when

Zen and Moby both drew their swords and moved into Messy's bunch.

Such power is rarely ever seen, even in the Kingdom. The battle

raged on for hours, there was such energy and power released

in the battle that it created unusually savage storms on the

planet earth. Electrical storms knocked out power plants, there

were blackouts in several major cities. Zen and Moby were fighting

as well as they ever had, back to back. Messy's agents couldn't

penetrate the flashing swords of these marvelous warriors.

Mesmerizer's generals were beginning to worry that they had

made a mistake. Messy's General called in another legion of agents,

one of the new fresh agents managed to injure Zen. Nothing real

serious but it did alter the course and direction of the battle.

Suddenly, Messy's agents had managed to manipulate them into

the restricted zone. As this happened; Messy's agents who are

of a negative power grew stronger and Zen and Moby who are of a

positive nature grew weaker. It began to look bad for the two.

One of ALPHA'S agents who had been restrained throughout the

entire battle managed to slip away. He was slipping out of the

restricted zone. If he could get out of the restricted zone he

would be able to signal Alpha Command for help. Meanwhile, the two

magnificent warriors, finally weakened from the negative influence,

collapsed, their swords laying at their feet. They were surrounded

by thousands of Messy's agents. Mesmerizer himself stepped forward

with his weapon drawn, a horrible, deadly looking killing devise.

He drew his weapon back to strike as he said, "I've wanted to

do this for a long time." These brave, agents had come to the

end of their mission, they had failed Alpha! Then suddenly a

trumpet sounded! At the speed of light Alpha's Army had broken

through! Zen and Moby received the power from Alpha Command and

disarmed Mesmerizer. Five legions, (50,000 agents) from ALPHA

COMMAND were upon Messy's warriors. The agent had gotten out of

the restricted zone and the message had gotten through to ALPHA!

AlPHA had saved his magnificent warriors! Mesmerizer's army was in

terrible shock and disbelief!

ALPHA healed Zen's wound and sent them back to earth's dimension to

continue their mission. ALPHA instructed Zen and Moby to "stay close,"

planet earth is in turmoil.
